"The X634sX jean is a flannel lined water resistant jean. We've taken Iron Heart's flagship product, the 634s straight leg selvedge jean, and given it the cold weather treatment.

We took their 21oz indigo selvedge denim and lined the entire jean with a heavy weight triple brushed black/gray flannel, but we didn't stop there. The jean is then completely coated in paraffin for repelling water. The jean has to be rinsed twice at the factory after the coating process so the entire thing is extremely comfortable and there is no break-in period whatsoever.

We initially made these with cyclists and motorcyclists in mind, but once news of these leaked we had an overwhelming response from customers wanting to use them during snow sports. The melancholy feeling of Nudie’s S/S collection lingers on to the F/W 10 one.

The jeans collection offers a wide spectrum of unwashed and washed denim. It features fabrics with indigo coating on black or brown weft, black coating on indigo blue weft, worn grey shades, and yellow or brown tinting. Names like Night Thunder, Deep Murky and Black Tint suggest that the trend wash wise is dark. The descriptions of the washes are pure poetry; a honey smoked weft with a grey tint or a dark minded indigo with silent abrasions and thunder light scrapings. Besides these dark minded washes, the range also offers light and mid blue shades with wash effects like clouds passing in the sky.

DIESEL CONCEPT STORE IN JAPAN

DIESEL opens its first large format concept store in Shibuya, Tokyo.

the megastore will also feature a café and a diesel art gallery where exhibitions are to be held by directional international artists. the new flagship pretty much carries all of the brand’s collections, including diesel black gold, the newly introduced home collection and there’s even a section with original souvenir goods.
